Sherry has 35 years' commercial and executive experience in the US and New Zealand. While in the US, Sherry worked as a senior corporate lender in international banks and finance companies - with special expertise in the agribusiness and food processing industries. Later, Sherry served as a senior executive and officer at a US$1 billion, 2,500 staff company, with operational and strategic responsibility for several profit centres, including the International Division, as well as leading the Human Resources Division. Since relocating to New Zealand, Sherry has been Team Leader and Senior Consultant for Sheffield Ltd's Remuneration Practice. In this capacity, Sherry has worked closely with dozens of top executives and Boards of Directors at a wide range of New Zealand businesses. Sherry earned an MBA from University of Chicago and a BA from Yale University.
